Blue Dragon Burning Europe This Autumn
That's nearly a year after the Japanese release, but at least it's coming.
The Xbox 360 has many strengths but having Japanese RPGs is not one of them. Thankfully, Microsoft has confirmed that Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi's Blue Dragon is on its way out of Japan.
Already released to critical acclaim last December in Japan, Blue Dragon will arrive this August in North America and in Europe in September in all five major Europeans languages, CVG is reporting.
Blue Dragon was developed by Mistwalker and brings together some of the creators responsible for the biggest games in Japan, including Final Fantasy alumnus Sakaguchi and Dragon Quest artist Akira Toriyama.
Also confirmed for release in the US - but not Europe, yet - was Sakaguchi's second Xbox 360 exclusive RPG Lost Odyssey, which will be out in North America towards the end of the year, according to Wired.
