Playing in the DIRT in Colin McRae
Now you don't just have to play by yourself. New mode details screens.
Rally games have traditionally been popular (in Europe at least) but one aspect of the sport that has held it back is its solo, man-versus-nature quality. Codemasters is bypassing that shortcoming for its new Colin McRaegame due later this year with a new racing mode straight from the US.
Colin McRae DIRT will include races based on the C.O.R.R. (that's Championship Off-Road Racing) series from America in which up to 10 people race against each other in buggies, trucks and other off-roaders.
Will you be able to play the C.O.R.R. races online? It seems a natural assumption but it's one that Codemasters has not yet addressed. The company did not respond when we approached them for comment.
Colin McRae DIRT will be out for Xbox 360 and PC in June and there's a PS3 version planned for later in the year. Find out more at the official site.
