Oblivion Expands Into Shivering Isles
Another 30 hours awaits - well, as soon as Xbox Live is back up.
It's been a long time coming, but Shivering Isles, the first and only full expansion for hit RPG Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, is finally here.
The expansion, which adds around another 30 hours of gameplay to the already massive world of Oblivion, is available now for PC and Xbox 360. (Xbox 360 owners may need to wait a few hours as Microsoft finishes its scheduled maintenance of Xbox Live on Tuesday.)
The new content whisks you off to the Shivering Isles, home to Sheogorath, the Daedric Prince of Madness. Here you'll find a new world that mirrors the twin personalities of the sometimes-manic-sometimes-demented ruler. You'll be able to play with either your existing character or you'll be able to make a new one.
In addition to the new lands, Shivering Isle also adds new items, enemies and much more - enough, Bethesda hopes, for you to get your Microsoft Points worth.
