SmackDown for Wii, Everything Else
THQ's wrestling game picks up a bit of ECW en route to its latest annual instalment. First stomping screens.
THQ is getting back in the ring for the latest update to its popular wrestling series WWE SmackDown Vs Raw.
This year's edition has the requisite annual upgrades over last year's, with Extreme Championship Wrestling promised a bigger part too, thanks to the inclusion of characters and arenas from the sister franchise.
It's not just stats and rosters that change, though. WWE SmackDown Vs Raw 2008 will also bring two new features.
Superstar Fighting Styles breaks down the gameplay into eight distinct fighting styles, giving you a closer grip on the type of character you play. Meanwhile, the Struggle Submission System brings an extra element to on-the-ground play, letting you apply a range of pressure to your opponent.
WWE SmackDown Vs Raw 2008 is coming this autumn for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, DS, PSP and PlayStation 2.
