Lost Planet Finds New Home on PC
Now you can get your Direct X 10 on in the snow.
Capcom's snowbound shooter Lost Planet: Extreme Condition (reviewed here) is being given a new lease on life with the announcement of a version coming to the PC later this year.
The game, which was jointly announced by Capcom and Nvidia this week, will include full support for Direct X 10 running under Windows Vista and will support resolutions up to 2560 x 1600, according to Impress Game Watch.
Capcom hasn't said whether the game, which is due this June in Europe and North America, will be a straight port of the million-selling Xbox 360 version or whether there will be gameplay tweaks or add-ons.
The announcement immediately gave rise to questions about whether Capcom's other Xbox 360 hit, the zombie-slasher Dead Rising, would make a similar jump, but so far there has been no indication from Capcom or anyone else that such a port is in the works.
