Resident Evil 4 on Wii This Summer
Nintendo is bringing Capcom's scary duo to Wii soon.
It was only days ago that Capcom was unveiling its two Resident Evil games for the Wii and already Nintendo, which is publishing both in Europe, is stepping up to offer release details.
Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition is up first, arriving for the Wii on 29 June. Nintendo has not confirmed a precise date yet for Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles, but the company said the game would be out later this year in Europe.
Two years after debuting on the GameCube, Resident Evil 4 is coming to the Wii with a few new twists. For one, you'll be able to use the Wii remote to aim weapons and attack enemies with a knife. The game also includes the extra bits starring Ada Wong that were added to the PlayStation remake.
Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles is something else. Essentially an arcade-style light-gun game, Umbrella Chronicles takes you back to familiar locations plucked from all four games set before Resident Evil 4 and also some new ones too.
