Ninja Gaiden Sigma in Europe This Summer
Prettier graphics, dual-katana wielding and more for Ryu's PlayStation 3 debut.
Xbox classic Ninja Gaiden Black is being updated for the PlayStation 3 in a big way in Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Eidos said on Friday that it would be bringing the game to Europe this summer.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma is not a sequel but rather a re-envisioning of the original Xbox game. It includes new moves for signature leading man Ryu Hayabusa, a new player woman character named Rachel, and completely redone graphics designed to show off the power of the console.
Your enemies and bosses - both new and returning - will pose more of a challenge this time, but you'll be able to see them off using Ryu's new dual-wielded katanas. All the original levels return and there are new ones for Rachel too.
There's no online mode, but Ninja Gaiden Sigma will track how you play the game and let you put up your statistics for all the world to see.
