Phantasy Star Universe Inflates in Ambition
Sega has more single- and multiplayer stuff coming later this year.
Sega's PC and console single-slash-multiplayer RPG Phantasy Star Universe is getting a bit bigger with word from the company that it has an expansion pack coming.
The expansion, titled Phantasy Star Universe: Ambition of the Illuminus, will be out this autumn as a download for Xbox 360 and at retail disc for PC and PlayStation 2.
Ambition of the Illuminus works on both modes of the game, adding new regions, such as a ruined city and mines, to the singleplayer mode while also bringing improvements to online multiplayer, including a casino, an expanded lobby area and more customization options.
Sega is also putting together an in-game event called Operation: Firebreak, to take place on 25 May, and is asking that players get together to bring down the threat. You can find out more about the game at the official Phantasy Star Universe site.
