Spore Suffers More Delays
Will Wright fans will need to wait a while longer.
Will Wright's next big game, Spore, likely won't be out this and there's a chance it may not be out until spring 2009.
EA, publisher of The Sims and Wright's eagerly awaited create-'em-up, said this week that it was not confident of getting Spore out by March 2008. As part of its financial report this week, the company said it was possible the game would slip into its next financial year ending in March 2009, according to Reuters.
This is not the first delay for the long-in-the-coming title.
Spore had originally been given a tentative release date sometime in late 2006, which then shifted to late 2007. This latest report suggests we could be waiting until sometime in 2008 now.
