Prince of Persia Classic Leaps onto Live
Complete remake of the 17-year-old PC hit now up.
The wall-running, bare-chested Prince of Persia is a 3D star thanks to recent hits in his eponymous series. Now Xbox 360 gamers can go back to his roots.
From Wednesday, Xbox 360 owners can download the one that started it all, Prince of Persia Classic, from the Xbox LIve Marketplace. The 50 MB download will cost you 800 Microsoft Points (around £7) but you can try out a time-limited trial version for free.
The Xbox Live Arcade game is a complete remake of the PC classic. You've got just 60 minutes to save the Princess from a horrible fate, and lying between you and her are spikes, ledges and all manner of baddies.
Don't think you'll just breeze through the game if you mastered it in 1989. In addition to the prettier graphics and added Achievements, there are also new traps and puzzles to deal with.
