Download Tomb Raider: Anniversary
If you want it on 360, Xbox Live Marketplace is the only place you're going to get it - at first.
It would be a lie to say the news that the remake of Lara Croft's debut game is coming to the Xbox 360 is a surprise. What is interesting is how you'll get it.
Eidos confirmed this week that Tomb Raider: Anniversary, the remake of the 1996 original currently out for PC and PlayStation 2, will be coming to the Xbox 360 as downloadable episodes.
It kicks off with Episodes I & II in September and concludes with Episodes III & IV not long after, according to Eidos.
For those Xbox 360 owners who are not among the 6 million Xbox Live users, the company is also working on a boxed version, which will be out sometime towards the end of the year.
Tomb Raider: Anniversary is a total revamping of the the original Tomb Raider game, which introduced the world to Lara Croft. It was released on PS2 and PC earlier this month, spurred on by a wealth of positive press.
In addition to the Xbox 360 version, Eidos is also working on versions for the Wii and the PSP.
