Shrek the Thirteenth, Behind Forza 2
Three weeks on top for Microsoft's hardcore racer.
Microsoft's hardcore racing game Forza Motorsport 2 is making short work of the competition, pulling in a third No. 1 finish in as many weeks.
Sales of the racer dropped by another half, according to research group Chart Track, but that was still enough to keep it ahead of the movie-boosted tie-in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, which saw its source material hit the theatres over the weekend.
One of only two newcomers in the Top 20 this week was Shrek The Third, at No. 13. Look for a big jump next week after the movie goes into wide release across the UK on Friday.
The only other new game to make any headway this week was FlatOut Ultimate Carnage, Empire's console adaptation of PC driving hit FlatOut 2.
The Top 20 games for the week ending 23 June, as determined by Chart Track, are below:
- Forza Motorsport 2 (Microsoft)
