Euros Get PS3 Bundle Instead of Price Cut
So you'll have to sell the bundled items if you want to save the cash.
The revelation of a price cut for the PlayStation 3 in the US led to Europeans asking when they would get similar treatment. If you're one of them, don't hold your breath.
On Thursday Sony revealed its new PS3 hardware bundle - ostensibly what the company will be providing in lieu of a price drop.
The PS3 Starter Pack includes the same 60 GB model of the PlayStation 3 that launched in March and also includes two Sixaxis controllers. To sweeten the deal, Sony is throwing in a few games too, its PS3 best-sellers MotorStorm and Resistance: Fall of Man.
The pack will sell for £425 and will be available from 18 July in the UK and from 1 August across the rest of Europe.
