LocoRoco Brings Cheer (of a Sort) to PS3
But the big question is whether it's a game or not.
Deemed by many to be one of the happiest games on the PSP, LocoRoco is next headed to Sony's home console.
Sony has confirmed work on the PS3 version, called Buu Buu Cocoreccho! by LocoRoco, according to an IGN report. The game, which will be made available as a PlayStation Network Download, is said to be 95 per cent complete.
The big question is whether this is going to be a logical extension of the LocoRoco idea onto the PS3 or if we're in for something different.
According to IGN, Sony has teased with early details, saying, "It's LocoRoco, but it's not - a peculiar extra chapter."
Though you'll be able to play it using the tilt function of the Sixaxis controller, it seems that the game will play itself at times too, making it sound more like an interactive screensaver than a full game.
