Disgaea Sequel Enchants PlayStation 3
Don't expect anything radically different. First look.
Considering the relative success seen by both of Japanese developer Nippon Ichi's previous Disgaea games, it's no surprise that the company has a third instalment coming.
Going by the early images accompanying the Japanese press release, Disgaea 3 is looking, for the moment at least, very much like the popular PlayStation 2 instalments, with a nearly identical visual style.
Neither Nippon Ichi nor domestic publisher Koei have been keen on getting into specifics, other than confirming that it will be sticking to its simulation-RPG roots.
The Japanese version of Disgaea 3 is due for release on PlayStation 3 this winter, so the run-down of changes fans can expect can't be far off.
