Zap Nazis in Wii Medal of Honor
Wii Zapper support and 32-player online modes included.
Megapublisher EA's showing of support for the Wii continues with a second Medal of Honor: Heroes game headed to the system.
Medal of Honor: Heroes 2, which is also coming to the PSP, casts you as John Berg, an operative with the American OSS agency. You'll be dropped behind enemy lines near Normandy in early June 1944 and have to make your way deep into hostile territory.
The Wii edition will be one of the first games to use Nintendo's new Wii Zapper - an accessory that lets you plug both the Wii remote and nunchuck into a replica gun for easier aiming. It's all part of Nintendo's ploy to get more people playing.
Keeping with this attitude, there's a new mode that puts the action on rails, simply requiring you to aim and shoot, taking some of the harder work out of the way for meeker players.
Also new to this is big-count online play. Up to 32 people will be able to battle it out online on the Wii. PSP owners will need to be clustered together for these large-scale matches.
Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 will be out for Wii and PSP later this year.
