World of Warcraft Population Surges
Nothing, it seems, can stop this MMO's growth - yet.

Blizzard announced on Tuesday that its genre-dominating massively multiplayer online game now has more than 9 million subscribers around the world.
The two-and-a-half-year-old game shows no sign of losing steam, with the last million subscribers signing up since January.
In January Blizzard put out the first full expansion pack, Burning Crusade, which went on to sell 3.5 million copies in less than two months - most of those within the first 24 hours.
With the West taken care of, Blizzard is now readying the expansion pack for release in China later this year, which the company suspects will draw lapsed players back into the fold.
