Splinter Cell: Conviction Delayed to 2008
A year without a Splinter Cell game? Say it isn't so.
Ubisoft's original plan was for Xbox 360 owners to take delivery of Sam Fisher's latest game before this Christmas. That plan has changed.
The company said this week that Splinter Cell: Conviction, previously confirmed for release in November, will now only arrive sometime during the first quarter of the new year, according to a GameSpot report.
Splinter Cell: Conviction is Sam Fisher's first Xbox-exclusive outing in quite some time. The game sees Sam being chased by the law, putting players into new situations, and lets you use crowds to your advantage.
Ubisoft did not give any particular reason for the delay.
