Rockstar Working on PS3 Exclusive
We don't know what it is, but we do know what it's not.
There has been much handwringing over Rockstar's apparent favouritism for the Xbox 360, especially after a company representative shared recently that those wanting the full Grand Theft Auto IV experience should look to Microsoft's console. Rockstar blew those fears out the water late last week, announcing that it's working on a game that will only come to the PlayStation 3.
The revelation came via GameHead, a US TV show, and was reiterated on the official PlayStation blog.
Unforunately, the news that something is coming is all we're getting for now, as specific details were not divulged.
Sony's Michael Shorrock says on the PlayStation blog that the game in question is not the previously revealed L.A. Noire "but something all new".
Calling it a win-win situation, Shorrock said that "Rockstar really wanted to make a game that you can truly only do on PS3, harnessing the power of Cell and Blu-ray disc."
