EA Predicts Crysis for PC Gaming
The big question is, can your system handle it?
The months of visual tormenting are finally coming to a close. EA has revealed that it's hot new first-person shooter Crysis will be in stores this autumn.
Crysis, which is being developed by Germany developer Crytek, will be out only on PC on 19 November.
While the game has been reported to be something of a graphical sadist, punishing all but the most powerful Direct X 10-capable graphics cards, the game will also work - in some form, at least - on lowlier Direct X 9-equipped machines.
The key draw, apart from the impressive visuals, is your character's nanosuit, the product of suitably clandestine operations that imparts super skills to the wearer at the merest touch of a button.
"Crytek is constantly striving to push the boundaries of both game design and technology, while maintaining quality at the highest bar," reckons Crytek boss Cevat Yerli. "We're thankful to our fans for their support and patience, and we're excited to bring them Crysis this year. It's going to be worth the wait."
Find out when the game hits stores in November. In the meantime, you can learn more about the game at www.nanosuit.com.
