Transformers Turns Into Chart Winner
But it's the Wii and the DS that are the real story.
If it's not a movie tie-in, a Wii game, or a DS title, Britons, it seems, want nothing to do with it.
For the second week in succession that Transformers movie spin-off game sits atop the UK sales chart, edging out Nintendo's Pokémon Diamond for the DS, which is drops by nearly half relative to the previous week.
But that's not to say that enthusiasm for the DS - or the Wii, for that matter - is cooling. A full 10 of the 20 most popular games in the UK last week were released exclusively for the Wii or the DS.
Apart from Transformers, other flicks turned games still grabbing attention include the latest Pirates of the Caribbean, Shrek and Harry Potter films.
