BioShock Scares Up Massive UK Sales
And Blue Dragon helps the Xbox 360 along too.
Fear sells, as 2K Games will be more than happy to tell you, the company having just topped the UK chart with its new horror-slash-shooter game, BioShock.
Out for both PC and Xbox 360, BioShock has been getting radiant reviews over the past fortnight. Almost nine in ten copies were sold on the Xbox 360, helping that version become the second-fastest selling Xbox 360 game of all time, behind only last year's shooter hit Gears of War.
There was more good news for Microsoft too. Blue Dragon, the new RPG for Xbox 360 from Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi, came in strong, entering the chart at No. 9 in its first week.
Rounding out the Top 10 was Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2, which was boosted this weekend by the release of the PlayStation 3 version of the game.
