Tiger Woods Leaps Up UK Chart
But Super Paper Mario would have been first if only it was available on more consoles.
Super Paper Mario for the Wii was the best selling single-format game in the UK last week but it's thanks to its being released on multiple platforms that Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 finds itself on top of the all-formats charts.
Generally, EA has much cause for celebration right now. True, last week's chart-topper, Medal of Honor: Airborne, did sell about half as much as the previous week, but the new Sims game MySims for Wii and DS and the new Tiger Woods have given the company three games in the top six places.
Other new games this week included the PC-only alternate history game World in Conflict, which came in at No. 15. Not having as welcome a reception is Warhawk. The boxed version of the game squeaked onto the chart at No. 38, but this ignores any sales made directly from the online PlayStation Store.
