Blue Dragon Too Easy? Make it Harder
Now the game can be as punishing as you want it to be.
So you've made it through Xbox 360 RPG Blue Dragon but you wish it had been a little bit harder? Microsoft is about to make your day.
The company has this weekend put up an update on the Xbox Live Marketplace that will let you boost the difficulty level on the bright-'n'-brash RPG.
The update includes three new game settings, including Game Plus, which lets you start a new game using your characters as they were at the end of game; Hard Game, which makes the game about twice as difficult; and Impossible Game, a crushing new setting where it's recommended your characters are at Level 50 before you even start.
Blue Dragon has seen some success but it hasn't reached the heights of creator Hironobu Sakaguchi's previous Final Fantasy games. The game was released in Europe in late August to mostly positive - if not glowing - reviews and made it into the Top 10 on the UK charts in its first week before dropped off quickly after that.
You can find out more about the game in our full review.
