Gears of War Turns on PC in November
Only a month to go until you're able to play through the new story chapters in Direct X 10 glory.
Almost a year to the day after Gears of War made its blood-stained mark on the Xbox 360, Microsoft's third-person shooter is coming to the PC, with the company saying this week that Gears of War would bring its expanded repertoire to the PC on 9 November.
The game includes all the stuff that endeared the game to more than 3.5 million Xbox 360 owners and a lot of content to turn those millions a little green with envy.
There are three new multiplayer maps and a new mode too, but what the real draws are the five new chapters that have been added to the story mode. These new chapters will flesh out the story and let you face off against new creatures, such as the massive Brumak that Xbox 360 owners got to see but not touch last year.
Until now, Microsoft has insisted that this extra content will not be coming to the console, so if you want to bring down the beast - or edit your own maps - you'll have to pick up the PC version.
