Get Sweaty With WWE: SvR 2008 Demo
Try it today before picking it up (or not) later in the month.
Ratings are down for TV coverage of the WWE but its unique brand of men-in-tights tomfoolery is still a hit with gamers around the world. To see what the next game in the franchise is going to be like, all you need to do is turn on your Xbox 360.
Do that and you'll see that publisher THQ has today put up a free playable mode for WWE SmackDown Vs Raw 2008 on the Xbox Live Marketplace.
The demo is designed to show off some of the new gameplay, including the eight Superstar Fighting Styles and the new analog submission system for bringing your opponents down and keeping them there.
The demo features fighters Rey Mysterio, Bobby Lashley, Randy Orton and the Undertaker in one- or two-player matches in arenas from the three main SmackDown, Raw and ECW brands.
WWE SmackDown Vs Raw 2008 will be out in Europe for all three new consoles, PlayStation 2 and DS on 9 November. A PSP version is also coming out towards the end of November.
