Street Fighter IV Trailer Teases Fight Fans
Is the merest of glimpses enough to get you excited? Capcom hopes so.
Capcom is promising a fresh start for its 20-year-old Street Fighter franchise, announcing the fourth instalment in the long-running series on Wednesday.
In a one-minute-long, highly stylized teaser trailer running on the company's Street Fighter World site, Capcom gives us just the slightest of hints of what it has in store for us with Street Fighter IV.
Fans will immediately wonder whether the game be in 2D, as most of the previous instalments have been, or whether Capcom will again brave 3D. Or perhaps their first thoughts will be about the cast. Which of the colourful cast of characters will return, and how many new fighters can we expect? All of these are questions that Capcom is dodging right now.
Instead, about the only thing that can be surmised from the trailer is that stalwarts Ryu and Ken will return for duty in Street Fighter IV.
Check out the trailer yourself at www.streetfighterworld.com while you wait for Capcom to open up more on the game.
