User-Created Stages for Super Smash Bros
And you'll even be able to share them online and download more from Nintendo.
Between its generous cast of characters, replay saving and online modes, Super Smash Bros Brawl for the Wii is already a big deal for Nintendo fans. Here's one more reason to get excited: stage building.
In a post on the official Super Smash Bros site, Nintendo has revealed that you'll be able to create your own levels using an extensive editor included in the game. This will let you perfectly position gameplay elements on the background of your choice, all played to music of your choosing.
The stages can be stored on SD cards for longevity and can also be sent to anyone with a friend code.
Those not interested in creating their own stages will still be able to take part. Stages can be submitted to Nintendo and every day the company will choose one user-created level that will be made available for download to the entire Wii community.
Super Smash Bros Brawl for the Wii will be out sometime in the second quarter of 2008.
