Pro Evo 2008 Scores on FIFA
Football hat-trick but Zelda stands strong.
As is usual around this time of the year, football is the name of the game, and the top finisher this week was Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 2008, which easily grabbed victory from EA's FIFA 2008.
While it was the Xbox 360 version of FIFA 08 that sold best at first, over in the Pro Evolution Soccer camp, it's still the PlayStation 2 that's leading the way, with 42 per cent of sales versus 30 per cent for Microsoft's console.
Link's new portable Legend of Zelda game for DS is proving resilient, with sales down only slightly. Ratatouille, meanwhile, boosted by the strong showing of the movie in cinemas, is up again, finishing up a couple spots from last week.
Of the other new releases, Nintendo's Metroid Prime 3: Corruption did best. Clive Barker's Jericho made a more tentative start, coming in at No. 26 in its opening weekend.
