Five-on-Five Online Play for FIFA 08
Ready for football war? EA adds new multiplayer mode to latest FIFA game.
Just as promised, EA has this week made available for download a new patch that lets up to 10 players team up for five-on-five matches no matter where in they world they are.
The new download, called Online Team Play, is available now for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners. You and four friends will be able to play as either five unique players on a team or to switch between them on the fly as the game goes on.
Joe Booth, the man in charge of the FIFA series at EA, said earlier this year that the ultimate goal is to have full 11-on-11 matches, and that this is the first step in getting there.
