Supreme Commander Confirmed for 360
Strategy hit gets new features (and handlers) en route to the console.
Strategy games haven't yet had the success on consoles that they're seeing on the PC, but that's not for want of trying. The latest to give the genre a try is Gas Powered Games, which is brining its PC hit Supreme Commander to the Xbox 360.
GameSpot reports that the developer has confirmed the console version is in the works, adding that the game is not being done in-house. Rather the Xbox 360 version of Supreme Commander is in the hands of new development studio Hellbent Games and will be published by Aspyr Media.
Much like the previous PC-to-console strategy games, the game will come with a new control interface, and the report says there will be new units, new modes and refreshed maps too.
