Konami Fesses Up to Pro Evo Problems, Promises Fix
The pain will soon end, PlayStation 3 owners.
If you're a PlayStation 3 owner and a football fan, you're probably playing Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 around this time - or at least you're trying to.
Konami has confirmed that it's getting reports that the game is running poorly on some people's PlayStation 3s.
An FAQ posted on Konami's site talks about people have problems with the game ranging from stuttering and freezing video to others where the network play doesn't do what it says on the box.
The video issues, Konami says, can be done away with simply by playing on a high-definition TV. If, however, that's not something you can do, the company will soon have some sort of a patch.
Ditto for the problems people are having with online play, something the company says is down to unnamed issues.
When will this all be taken care of? According to CVG, Konami has said that it will have a solution in place by 19 November.
