Call of Duty 4 Reports to Top of UK Chart
Meanwhile Ratchet & Clank gets off to a slow start.
Gone is the World War II theme that helped establish the Call of Duty series as one of the best shooters around but that's not slowing down Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
Activision fourth entry in the franchise, the third to be made by series creator Infinity Ward, comes in at the No. 1 spot this week, holding off the challengers-in-tights from THQ's WWE SmackDown Vs Raw 2008.
It was an altogether different story for Sony, which saw its new PlayStation 3 platformer, the well-reviewed Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction, tank somewhat in its early days. The game, the second for the system by Insomniac, barely managed to make it into the Top 20, coming in one place ahead of Motorstorm, which was released this time last year, at the launch of the console.
