Orange Box for PS3 by Christmas
Half-Life 2, Portal and the rest will be here soon.
PlayStation 3 owners wondering if they're going to be able to tuck in to Half-Life 2 and the rest of The Orange Box before next year can rest easy.
EA confirmed to Eurogamer this week that The Orange Box will be out in the UK by 14 December.
The game, which collects Half-Life 2, its two add-ons Episode One and Episode Two, squad-shooter Team Fortress 2 and first-person puzzler Portal, was released in October on PC and Xbox 360, earning chart success and excellent reviews across the board.
The Orange Box is just one of many games that have arrived later on PlayStation 3 than on Xbox 360 this year, a result that can generally be attributed to developers concentrating on the version of the game for the Xbox 360, which has sold many more units than the PlayStation 3.
As the PlayStation 3 grabs a bigger share of the gaming pie, such delays will likely shrink back down.
