PlayStation Store on Your PC
Now you don't need to own a PlayStation 3 to sample Sony's online PSP offerings.
The PlayStation Store is a good resource if you're a PSP owner that happens to have a PlayStation 3, but what if you're among the million of PSP owners yet to commit to the console and so can't get to it? Enter the PlayStation Store for the PC.
Designed as a place for PS3-less PSP owners to get at all of Sony's online content, the PlayStation Store for the PC brings the console store experience straight to your computer. You'll be able to sign up for a PlayStation Network account and buy PSone games and download demos just as if you were going online with a PS3.
Among the content already up are Beats, a new rhythm game from Sony's London studio, and Go! Puzzle, two games that are for now only available on the PlayStation Store. There are also trailers, downloadable PSone games, and demos for Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, LocoRoco and other PSP games.
If you're already a PS3 owner and just want to save yourself the headaches of using a keyboard with your console, you'll be glad to hear that you can simply visit the site and sign in using your existing PlayStation Network account.
The PlayStation Store for the PC is live now and can be found at store.playstation.com.
