Uncharted Demo, G-Police Hit PS Store
No need to wait until December to give Larry Croft's game a quick look.
If you're a PlayStation 3 owner, one of the biggest games in your immediate future is undoubtedly Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, the Tomb Raider-with-a-dude Indiana Jones style game from Naughty Dog coming to the system in early December. There is, however, no need to wait that long to give it a go.
As part of the latest refresh of the PlayStation Store, Sony has put up a playable demo for Uncharted that PS3 owners can download for free. There's also some behind-the-scenes stuff in a video entitled Uncharted Introducing Naughty Dogs.
Want something older? Sony has you covered as well. In addition to the other PS3 and PSP content, there's also a new downloadable PSone game, namely G-Police. Released a decade ago, this widely hailed game, developed by Wipeout creator Psygnosis, was one of the first games to give you full freedom of motion as you navigated your flying cop car through the game's city world.
Both the demo and the game are now available at the PlayStation Store. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune will be out on PS3 on 7 December. Look for our interview with the creative team next week.
