Assassin's Creed Freezing Causes Ubi Heat
But the company says there is a fix coming soon.
It's the best selling game in the UK at the moment but some PS3 owners who bought Ubisoft's new action game Assassin's Creed have come away not completely satisfied.
A bug that causes the PS3 version of the game to freeze occasionally has been confirmed by Ubisoft and now the company has sent word that it's planning to set things straight.
In a post on Ubisoft's forums, the firm's UK community manager said that the team is working on an update to the game that would "help improve the stability of the game".
Several PS3 owners have reported that the game freezes randomly during play. Ubisoft could not say how many people are affected by the glitch or whether this is something restricted to certain versions of the console or if all PS3 owners are affected.
Ubisoft has so far only said that the fix will be available soon. When contacted on Monday, the company could not give a precise date for when the update would arrive.
