New Map, Dropship in Warhawk Update
It's coming next month, but how much is it going to cost?
PS3 owners have been putting the PlayStation Network to good use in Sony's critically lauded combat game Warhawk. So what does the company do when the games starts to age? It makes it better.
Sony is putting final touches on a download-only expansion pack for Warhawk called Operation: Omega Dawn.
Chief among the new features is a new map, the titular Omega Dawn, which pits the Eucadians and the Chernovans against each other on a new night-based environment playable in all the main game types. There's also a new vehicle, the KT-424 Combat Dropship, which can transport a pilot, six soldiers and your choice of ground vehicle.
In addition, Sony is also rejigging the five current maps to make full use of the functionality of the new dropship.
Operation: Omega Dawn will be available only from the PlayStation Store starting in December.
Sony has yet to say how much the update will cost and the company did not get back to us when we asked.
