Konami Squashes Bugs in Pro Evo 2008
First update fixes online and offline issues.
Pro Evolution Soccer series creator Shingo Takatsuka said recently that he wasn't happy with the way the latest game, Pro Evolution Soccer 2008, turned out, citing the challenges associated with developing games for multiple system.
But the game is already out there and not everyone is pleased, so Konami has kept to its word and developed a patch to help improve the experience for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners.
Konami said on Tuesday that it has released a free patch that rectifies "issues" with both versions of the game.
The patch, which is available as a free download, should alleviate the stuttering and lag players of both versions have experienced on- and offline.
Konami says the download will also fix the problems PS3 owners have had in getting the game to download to the console's hard drive.
Not satisfied? Konami says it's "still working on improvements", though the company did not say when we would see the next update.
