No Super Smash Bros Until Summer for EU?
It appears that we may be waiting until next summer for the fighter. Wii, DS release lists inside.
NOTE: Nintendo has responded to this article. You can find out more about Super Smash Bros Brawl's European release date in this story.
The delay of Super Smash Bros Brawl for the Wii was one of the bigger pieces of Nintendo news over the last few months. Wii owners can at least look forward to the beat-'em-up game's release in early winter - but not if you live in Europe, new information from Nintendo suggests.
The company put out a list of internal and third-party games that are coming out in Europe over the next few months for the Wii and the DS, and while there are several that should delight owners of either system, the biggest Wii game is notable for its absence.
Some of the confirmed games include Mario Kart Wii, which will be out sometime by the end of June, and No More Heroes, a new action game from Goichi Suda, creator of Killer 7, due on 29 February.
DS owners, meanwhile, can look forward to Advance Wars: Dark Conflict, Final Fantasy XII Revenant Wings and Ace Attorney Apollo Justice by spring.
So where's Super Smash Bros Brawl? It's out in January in the US and February in Japan but there's a question mark over Europe. We contacted Nintendo representatives to find out if the game has in fact been pushed back to the summer in Europe but the company did not get back to us.
Below are some of the games due for Wii and DS by the end of June.
