Living Large in Midway's This Is Vegas
Free-roaming dancing, gambling action game coming soon to PC and consoles.
The decadence of Las Vegas is under threat from a wealthy businessman with a bulging wallet and the family values to match, a man who is bent on cleaning up the sordid town.
If Sin City is going to survive as the adult theme park many know it as today, you have some work to do. Welcome to Midway's new console and PC game This Is Vegas.
The game, in development at the Seattle studio of Drakan and The Suffering creator Surreal, is a light-hearted romp in a city renowned for its romps.
Built around an open-world environment is a collection of all that makes Vegas Vegas, including partying, dancing, gambling, racing and, yes, fighting too.
Early art work from the game suggests that the game remains true to the spirit of the city, even if it doesn't carry the endorsements of the MGMs and the Bellagios that have made it so famous.
This Is Vegas is being developed for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and is due sometime next winter. For more on the game, visit vegas.midway.com.
