Legendary Opening Pandora's Box
Gamecock and Call of Duty: Finest Hour developer Spark combine myth with mayhem.
You don't have to look far to find a first-person shooter where you're fighting Nazis or terrorists, but when was the last tiem you were asked to destroy the truly mythical?
That's a challenge you'll be presented with in Legendary: The Box, a new game coming from upstart publisher Gamecock and Spark Unlimited, developer of Call of Duty: Finest Hour and Turning Point: Fall of Liberty.
The game picks up with lead character and art thief extraordinaire Charles Deckard making the big mistake of finding and opening the legendary Pandora's Box. Once opened, the box discharges its history, spilling all manner of mythical monsters such as griffons and werewolves into real-world locations from London to New York.
Naturally, Deckard is the only one who can restore order, giving players the responsibility of shoving the otherworldy beasts back into their own worlds, a task complicated by sinistar organizations out to foil his actions.
Legendary: The Box is coming to PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and it's due sometime this summer. Find out more at www.legendarythegame.com.
