Updated Assassin's Creed Leaps To PC
Ubisoft add's new gameplay elements to the Crusades action game.
Assassin's Creed has already sold more than 5 million copies worldwide in its Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 guises but publisher Ubisoft has revealed that there's still more to come.
In addition to the prequel, Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles, which is coming to the DS on 28 March, Ubisoft has announced that the original game is coming to the PC too. And it's not just a port.
Formally titled Assassin's Creed: Director's Cut Edition, this new version of the game includes all the stealthy, Third Crusades-based assassination action of the original and also four new interrogation types that will add variety to the gameplay, addressing one of the biggest gripes the majority of reviewers had with the console original.
Assassin's Creed is the latest game from Ubisoft's successful Montreal studio. The game draw wide acclaim in 2007 for its free-running mechanics, crowded city environments and time-spanning story.
Assassin's Creed: Director's Cut Edition will be out on PC towards the end of March.
