Aerosmith Tours With Guitar Hero

US rockers Aerosmith have been around for nearly 40 years, a time that has seen the band crawl out from their basement and walk onto the biggest stages around the globe. Now the band is taking on a new challenge, teaming up with Activision on a special edition of hit-series Guitar Hero.
Aptly titled Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, this reimagining of the core Guitar Hero gameplay will put players in the leathers of one of the biggest bands the world has ever known.
Players will crush out riffs from the band's many hits and play along to songs from other groups who have spurred on the Boston band over the years. From the venues they played to the songs that made them famous, the Aerosmith legends will be along every step of the way.
As part of the build-up to the game's release later this year, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners will be able to download Dream On, from the band's debut album, for free from the respective online stores. Be quick though. The offer ends on Monday.
Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, meanwhile, will be ready to rock on Wii, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this June.
