MotorStorm 2 Swaps Deserts for Jungles
New vehicles, setting and more in Evolution's racing sequel out later this year.
MotorStorm was one of the earliest successes on the fledgling PlayStation 3. Sony will be hoping for a similar response to MotorStorm 2, the sequel to the driving hit coming to the console later this year.
The most obvious change in MotorStorm 2 is the setting. Gone are the dry, dusty tracks of Monument Valley and in their stead we have luscious green jungle. The teaser video shows an island, with what appears to be Monument Valley on one half and the new setting on the other.
The game will feature an expanded vehicle range that now includes monster trucks and there are 16 multi-route tracks too. The game will also have split-screen four-player and online multiplayer with up to 16 players.
MotorStorm 2 is coming only to PlayStation 3 and is due this autumn.
