Halo 3 Legendary Map Pack Arriving in April
Tribute to Halo classic Sidewinder included in the bunch.
Ready your Needler - Microsoft has a trio of new Halo 3 maps coming to its hit shooter in mid April in the Halo 3 Legendary Map Pack.
The three new maps - Ghost Town, Avalanche and an as yet unnamed map - will be out on the Xbox Live Marketplace on 15 April and will cost 800 Microsoft Points (around £6.80).
Avalanche will feel familiar to fans of the series. Bungie describes the snow-ridden map as a "tribute" to Sidewinder, a large and by all account popular map from the first Halo game on the Xbox.
The second map, Ghost Town, is a more cosy affair, with Microsoft describing it as combination of "claustrophobic ground combat to dizzying rooftop battles".
The third map in the new pack is, for now, a mystery. But with the release only weeks away, it won't stay that way for long.
