Id Quietly Announces Doom 4
Plus there are hints of which platforms the new shooter is coming to.
Shooter powerhouse Id Software has started work on the latest game in its long-running Doom franchise.
Id confirmed that Doom 4 is in development and placed a call on its website on Wednesday for new hires at the Texas-based company.
In a statement on the site, Id CEO Todd Hollenshead said the team "demands the greatest talent and brightest minds in the industry to bring the next installment of our flagship franchise to Earth."
No specifics have yet been revealed about the game, but the latest job listings do mention an unannounced game for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
