E3 2005: Ultimate Video Coverage

Ten hours of simply the best HD E3 video coverage you can find, covering everything on PS3 and Xbox 360 along with masses of handheld and current-gen titles, all-new stuff and some surprise bonuses.

Kikizo is proud to present the E3 2005 edition of its Ultimate Video Coverage, so called because, well, it's the ultimate. We have put together an awesome, completely free collection of videos boasting the kind of quality you might expect from DVDs that usually see release months after the show - and better.

So much so, we're smashing last year's effort with a huge set of progressive 60fps media, with full-power bitrates that really deliver the quality you want to see from software on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

We are even offering multiple versions of certain videos because we feel that, while 99% of this blowout is genuine direct-feed, even more detail is visible in certain cam-filmed videos with some direct feed audio inserted for good measure. Basically you get it all - and there are several of the alternative versions you should definitely check out, as more detail is often visible, and certain direct feeds contained minor flaws at source.

A quick explanation of some of the terms we are using below. 'HD' means High Definition - basically these videos are clearer thanks to higher bitrates (3-4Mbps) and all at an eye-burning sixty frames per second, which REALLY makes a difference on awesome videos like Dead or Alive 4 on Xbox 360. However some weaker PCs (or incompatible monitor settings etc) may not be able to handle the files so well, which is why every single 'HD' video is also offered in 'SD' format, Standard Definition, with still-generous bitrates of around 2Mbps and regular framerates of 30fps (or 25fps even though we called them all 30 to make life easier). The only other stuff that really needs explaining is 'DF' (which means fully direct feed), 'DFA' (direct feed audio; the picture is not direct feed but instead high quality, no-shake camera-filmed footage that sometimes actually shows more detail) and 'CAM' (both audio and video are from high quality cam).

Attempting to watch the HD videos as they stream in will be pointless unless you are on a suitably fast connection, so just use the "right click save as" link to get direct downloads going.

In terms of content we have pulled out all the stops in bringing you the best stuff and some hidden gems that you almost certainly haven't seen yet.
