GTA IV Update: Get Drunk on Rockstar's Piswasser
Uniquely brewed beer straight from Liberty City.
By Adam Doree
We were expecting some Grand Theft Auto IV goodies today, but this came as a quite a (pleasant) surprise.
A crate of beer, but not just any beer. This is Piswasser (or more accurately, Pißwasser) - the beer from the world of Grand Theft Auto, and a prominent product in Liberty City along with other amusing beverages such as Sprunk.
This isn't just rebranded Corona either, but actually brewed by a relative of a Rockstar London staffer and sent out to journalists today as a bit of a thank you for getting to playing their game months and weeks before release - yes, it's a hard life, and tonight we're going to wind down with probably the rarest GTA-related swag we've ever possessed.
However, our review is coming first. It'll be up in the next few hours. It's later than the rest, but as far as we know, it's the first review based on actually completing the story, which none of the magazines or early reviews had time to physically accomplish. And it's spoiler free. Is our verdict like the rest? Check back in a bit.
