E3 2003: First Mario Kart Footage
Check out the first ever footage of Mario Kart Double Dash - direct feed and looking lovely.
In their public relations wisdom, Nintendo of America decided to give the first ever footage of their biggest title at their E3 stand next week, to TV news channel CNN. The footage revealed some cool new features, including the two-characters-per-kart formation.
The characters appear to be paired off - i.e. Mario and Luigi, Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong, etc - but it's likely you'll be able to swap around in the game. The graphics are impressive and you can link up GameCubes to play multiplayer. We'll have detailed impressions from E3 next week. Click here if you want to see the other screenshots.
